Be Their Everyday Hero
Our very own hero gives back to the special heroes in her life.
Meet Ady! Last October this sweet girl was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma that spread to her bone marrow and lymph nodes. She has been undergoing countless treatments and chemotherapy and fighting like the warrior that she is to (as she would call it) “Kick Cancer’s butt.” On July 18th, Ady and her family were given the best news ever, Ady was CANCER FREE! The best news to hear just before her 7th birthday on August 31st.It has been a long, hard, and emotional road for the Isom family but despite the challenges they faced, they never lost hope. From sibling matches, fun photo sessions, trips to the donut shop for Ady’s favorite treat, lots of movie nights, playtime and snuggles, dance parties and Kickee Camo’s with her fun Uncle Jimmy, to an incredible amount of love from her family to keep her going. No matter what, Ady always has the brightest smile on her face and knows how to make her fellow Kickee friends laugh. She is a real inspiration to the entire #kickeecommunity!
Ady was able to help us facilitate a donation of tee shirts to all of the nurses on the Oncology and Hemotology floor of the OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. What an awesome opportunity to give back!
“We gifted our favorite nurse some Kickee for her first baby that’s 4 months old. She was our very first nurse when Ady was diagnosed. They bonded and it melts my heart to see her and Ady together. With all this Covid stuff and them only allowing one parent, she stepped up to be the “mom” when I couldn’t be there. She’s literally the best and will even hold Ady’s nose when she takes liquid meds. I’m telling you they are all angels on earth! Thank you for choosing to celebrate our group of hero’s who helped save Ady’s life!”
